My good friend and Downline, Carol Smith, made this adorable Diaper Fold Pocket for me months ago. I never got to post it for you because of the side effects I had from the one medicine I was taking...so happy that is getting resolved! So today, I wanted to share Carol's creation and a few quick directions for creating your own one sheet wonder, Diaper Fold Pocket.
It’s called the diaper fold because it resembles the way cloth diapers were put on babies.
To make a smaller pocket, take a 6"×6" (you can do any size as long as it is square) square piece of paper and fold in half on the diagonal, corner to corner.
Fold the left corner over to the right so that the point makes a straight line across the top horizontal to the bottom.
Repeat with the right side. The two folds should be straight across the top and horizontal with the bottom.
You are almost done – Fold the top layer of the top point down over your folds. This will form the pocket to tuck treats, cookies, candy or a little gift inside.
For extra pizzazz, punch a hole near the top and add ribbon like Carol did on her creation.
It literally takes minutes to fold these cute little gift holders out of Designer Series Paper so they are wonderful for kid's events, neighbors, teachers or Hostess gifts.
Until Next Time,
